Please join me in welcoming Maria Carbajal!
Maria is a Commerce City native, a proud Adams City High School graduate, and still calls North Commerce City home. She works with South Adams County Fire and is an active Commerce City Rotarian, and extremely involved in the community!
If you know Maria, you know she’s involved in just about everything happening in Commerce City! She has an incredible love for this community and is always looking for ways to help, connect people, and make a difference. Her knowledge, relationships, and dedication to service will be a tremendous asset to our foundation.
Please also join me in welcoming Joe Frei!
Joe is another proud Adams City High School alumnus with deep roots in Commerce City. He’s an entrepreneur, philanthropist, Commerce City Rotarian, and someone who has continually invested his time, resources, and energy into making our community stronger.
Joe has already demonstrated incredible generosity by offering to help The Martinez Foundation acquire a trailer and other much-needed resources for our Lou’s Lunches program. This kind of support will help us expand our reach and continue serving families and individuals who need it most.
What means the most to me is that both Maria and Joe genuinely believe in what we’re trying to accomplish. They’re not just joining a board; they’re joining a mission built around serving others, creating opportunities, and strengthening our communities.
I truly believe that the people we surround ourselves with determine how far we can go. Having individuals like Maria and Joe, along with the incredible board members we already have, gives me so much excitement and confidence about our future.
To everyone on this board, thank you for believing in this vision and being willing to be part of something bigger than ourselves.
Maria and Joe, welcome to The Martinez Foundation family! I’m honored to have you both alongside us, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.
We’re just getting started, and I believe some incredible things are ahead!
